JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Serving as departmental project lead on a variety of complex and/or high profile initiatives Supporting the implementation of mandated changes from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
    Completing various CMS and management reports
    Creating and facilitating departmental training programs
    Leading departmental process improvement activities including Statistical Process Control teams
    Developing and implementing procedures and protocols
    Serving as the lead for business continuity planning including semi-annual audits
    Maintaining departmental Intranet site

    Four years of experience in the Medicare program which should include hands on experience with the standard claims processing systems (MCS and/or FISS) and researching CMS guidelines
    Two or more years experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Powerpoint
    Two years of experience with techniques used for Continuous Process Improvement
    One year of experience working with a Medicare Quality Management System

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (these are required minimum qualifications for all incumbents)
    A high school diploma/GED and four years experience in a business environment OR a Bachelors degree in business/management
    Two years project management experience
    Two years experience in business writing

    OTHER QUALIFICATIONS (these are additional, specific qualifications that are preferred for incumbents)
    Project management certificate from accredited institution or other recognized professional training program
