WHO WILL BE CONSIDERED: This position is open to all current members of the Oklahoma Army National Guard.

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED: This is an excepted position that requires active membership in a compatible skill in the Oklahoma Army National Guard and the wear of the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate will be required to be in a compatible military assignment prior to effective date of placement.
Supervisor must verify that selected individual occupies a compatible military position.
Technicians will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor or wage leader (grade inversion).

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Serves as the automated logistics information systems manager with technical responsibility for automated systems and operational management and SARSS-1 system operator. Develops, implements and maintains automated logistics information management systems in the Division and provides training for user personnel. Serves as main point of contact within the Supply and Services Division in communication with Standard Army Management Information System (STAMIS) proponents. National Guard Bureau (NGB), supporting maintenance activities and other USP&FO divisions for the purpose of coordinating the full implementation and operation of automated logistics information management systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: An applicants experience will be graded
based on the amount of experience you exemplify in your current and previous
positions held that are relevant to the position announced. Please provide examples of task accomplished
or give percentage of time you have performed a task. Your application must reflect 12 months experience planning,
organizing, and administering the operation of automated systems in support of
management functions and in providing management with direct information
support. Experience troubleshooting, loading and maintaining software. Familiar with the Standard Army Management
Information System (STAMIS) proponents.
Based on general knowledge of logistical policies and procedures
governing logistics activities, analyzed and determines the needs and methods
of data support for the division.
Determines requirements to see if locally developed applications are needed
that are not included in other Department of the Army (DA) logistic Standard
Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS). Trains employees in the operation and
maintenance of system equipment. Trains
functional users and conducts briefings to explain procedures, system options
and limitations of software and hardware.
Identifies causes of operations failure and means of recovery. Coordinates the loading of software changes
and program updates with DA, NGB, and Data Processing Installation (DPI) to
ensure system enhancements are synchronized and current.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA's): In the event there are more than 10 certified
applicants, the following KSA's will be used to determine the best qualified
applicants from which selection will be made.
1. Knowledge of
computer codes, abbreviations, and language.
2. Knowledge of
production control functions.
3. Ability to
interpret data requirements and coordinate priorities.
4. Ability to
trace and identity processing failures.

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: High school graduate or the equivalent may be
substituted for 3 months of
specialized experience. Education in schools above the high school level may be
substituted for experience on the basis of one academic year of study (i.e., 36
weeks of substantially full-time study, or 30 semester hours, or the
equivalent.) for 12 months of the
OFFICIAL copies of
transcripts must be submitted with application to receive credit for education
Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
