The National Insurance Account Executive sells new national accounts and additional coverages to existing large premium account customers. This requires extensive product knowledge, superior communication skills and an in depth analysis of each prospect. Throughout the sale process and once sold, the Account Executive is the principal contact working with the Client Service Manager to coordinate policyholder services on a daily basis and to ensure a successful account renewal.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify, solicit and submit quality sales prospects to Underwriting along with securing credit approval and coordinating Risk Control evaluation.
  • Collaborate with Underwriting for a competitive price and plan; prepare and present proposal to sales prospect and coordinates service presentations with other departments as needed to lead to a successful sale
  • Identify and satisfies customer needs through daily personal, written and telephone contact; participate in various policyholder risk management programs ensuring that potential problems are recognized, analyzed and that workable solutions are implemented.
  • Renew profitable accounts by reviewing coverages, services and alternative rating plans and products; present renewal proposal to insured, including premiums, pay plans, coverages, limits and options
