-Participate in pre-camp training
-Review all camper nutritional forms
-Comply with staff personnel policies
-Comply with camp medical procedures
-Prior to camp, work with Food Service Director to develop appropriate menus for camp session; including snack provisions
-Consult with nursing, Medical Director, Food Service Director, ADA Camp Director during camp session
-Meet daily with Food Service Director to review menus, menu changes, and food availability
-Ensure the health and safety of all campers
-Consult with parents, as needed, regarding special nutritional needs of campers
-Assist with camper and staff health emergencies including high and low blood glucose excursions
-Respond promptly to medical concerns, including low blood glucose levels
-At the direction of the Medical Director, assist with the care of special needs campers
-Participate in general camp schedule of activities
-Provide nutrition education as scheduled or needed
-Report all incidents immediately to Camp Director, and cooperate in required follow-up
-Other duties as assigned by Medical Director, Camp Director, and ADA Camp Director

REQUIREMENTS
-(1) Registered Dietitian (CDE preferred); and (1) Registered Dietetic Technician
-Experience with diabetes management and education
-Some experience with Celiac Disease desirable
-Demonstrated ability to work with children
-Readiness and willingness to adapt to camp environment
-Willingness to reside on campsite for assigned camp period, work scheduled hours and maintain enthusiastic communication with health care team
