Perform day-to-day administrative and service desk activities within Microsoft Dynamics AX, nLIGHT’s ERP system. This position reports to the Lead ERP Administrator, and requires the ability to perform the with minimal supervision.
Day-to-day user support
Setup new users and employee in AX
Disable user when an employee exits nLIGHT
Review and resolve service desk tickets
Maintain and update AX project log
Escalate issues to Lead ERP Administrator
System maintenance and clean-up
Maintain and update ERP environments
Coordinate regular data checks and clean-up processes
Monitor and look for improvements in system performance
Upload data and perform batch processes
Create and maintain user security groups
Perform security audits
Maintain and comply with ERP security policy and testing protocol
Maintain ITAR controls in ERP system
Maintain and update IT ERP policies and procedures
Maintain SharePoint site for user work instructions and testing documentation
Create and maintain work instructions for basic ERP system functionality
Maintain consistency of ERP process and documentation between sites and countries
Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Basic understanding of ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics AX experience preferred
Familiarity with SharePoint Portal
Strong written communication skills, including ability to document requirements and systems in a clear and concise manner
Excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to prioritize work.
Strong verbal communications, end-user communication and problem solving.
