We’re seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to direct Marketing Representatives to achieve regional sales and profit objectives in our fast-growing Western Region.
Will ensure the regional business plan is developed and executed effectively by providing staff clear direction and regular feedback on team and individual performance.
Will work closely with the Regional Vice President and other key cross-functional Regional team members to drive measurable results and positive customer experiences.
Key Areas of Responsibility
•Leadership: Train, coach, and direct multiple sales & marketing functions. Must be willing to travel to train, evaluate, and coach direct reports to improve skill levels and provide mentoring for career development.
•Sales & Marketing Deployment: Interact with multiple levels of company employees to maximize account development and agency management activities using data to drive decision making.
•Planning: Assist in the planning, budgeting, and management reporting processes for the Region
•Minimum 5 years P & C sales management background or comparable sales/ marketing management experience is preferred
•Requires at least 2 years of administrative personnel mgt experience including hiring, coaching and performance management
•Must be able to travel 50—75%.
•Experience with 3rd party distribution channel a plus
•Experience with CRM systems and tools related to sales force deployment
•Experience using and training staff on consultative selling skills
•Strong track record of sales/marketing management success
•Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
•A college degree or equivalent experience attained through work experience
