The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey is reopening the search for a full-time, 10-month, tenure track faculty member to be appointed to a level of Assistant or Associate Professor. Screening of applications begins December 15, 2013 and will continue until the position is filled.

The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey is a progressive college located 12 miles west of Atlantic City and is surrounded by 1600 acres of southeastern New Jersey Pinelands. Stockton has received national recognition for its distinctive academic programs and interdisciplinary approach to learning. The diverse faculty and student body at Stockton combine a spirit of innovation with a sense of tradition for academic excellence. Stockton College’s School of Health Sciences offers many graduate and undergraduate degrees in the health related professions as well as a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT). The Physical Therapy Program enjoys excellent clinical and campus-wide support. The successful candidate for this faculty position will join eight current faculty members with diverse professional backgrounds. The greatest teaching need is in the area of pediatrics; however, expertise in other neuromuscular physical therapy content areas will be considered. Faculty also participate in service and scholarship.

Minimum qualification for this 10 month, tenure track position is an earned academic doctorate or a clinical doctorate (DPT) with American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) certification or a plan for certification within three years. Candidates near academic doctorate completion will also be considered. Prior teaching experience is required. The candidate must be eligible for New Jersey license as a physical therapist. Starting date for this position is September 1, 2014. Rank and salary is commensurate with credentials and experience.
