Description Every person needs the support of others, but we look for very special people to support individuals with special needs . As a Caregiver, also known as a Personal Service Attendant (PSA), with Arizona MENTOR you’ll be one of those special people. PSAs are the link to the community for those they serve. For some, they may be the eyes of those unable to see, or the voice for those who can’t speak. For others, they are friend, cheerleader and subtle support on the path to one’s true potential. For Arizona MENTOR and The MENTOR Network the PSA is one of the most exemplary reflections of the wonderful mission driven work we do here every day. Arizona MENTOR is seeking Caregivers/ Personal Service Attendants to provide in home support to individuals with special needs receiving services residing in Arizona. PSAs provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, respite care and life skill activities. PSAs may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities. In addition, PSAs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support. · We are currently hiring only Part-time staff (hours vary). · Must have a flexible schedule and weekend availability. Sign Language a plus.

Qualifications Requirements :
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Car registration and vehicle insurance if providing transportation for individuals receiving services
  • Six months of experience in human services preferred
  • Successful clearance of local and/or state background checks
