Position Summary:
Perform data abstraction, data entry and report preparation. Work in team environment with regular interaction with data management staff/programmer and departmental clinical staff (Attendings, Fellow, and Physician Assistant).
Qualifications:
Requires 1 year of relevant post high school education or equivalent and 1-2 years of related experience. Bachelor's degree preferred with coursework in biological or biomedical sciences; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires strong computer skills (MS Excel, MS Access and MS Word, or similar applications for database management, spreadsheet and word processing). Accuracy and close attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are required. Knowledge of medical terminology and interest in medical science strongly desired.
