Patrol the facility and grounds, enforce security policies and procedures and maintain general order.
Communicate with public safety agencies, monitor alarm systems, conduct emergency response drills (fire and infant abduction)
Respond to emergency calls following appropriate procedures.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Law enforcement or security related experience, including experience working within a medical facility.
Training as a police or security officer in the military, state, federal and/or private agency.
Current healthcare security officer certification from IAHSS
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
