This FMS Senior Program Analyst supports a major Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program managed by the Security Assistance division of the Navy International Programs Office (Navy IPO). The candidate will work with IPT leads in the program offices for NAVSEA, NAVAIR and SPAWARSYSCOM. The position is located in Arlington, VA near the Crystal City Metro with some time spent at the Washington Navy Yard near Navy Yard Metro. Duties include: Supporting all aspects of security assistance program development coordinating among several distinct program offices across the Navy SYSCOMS; Creating, analyzing, and tracking FMS processes across the Letter of Requirement for Letter of Offer and Acceptance development cycle; Monitoring configuration management (CM) processes and results; Developing and maintaining production Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) through the entire life cycle; and Working closely with program office IPT leads and representatives on FMS requirements process.
A Bachelor's plus 9 years of experience is required, 3 years of which must be in the field of Navy Acquisition OR FMS Management experience. Experience must be in Foreign Military Sales, International Program Office, US Navy Operational Surface Commands or other similar domains, and include familiarity with Security Assistance programs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to speak Arabic fluently is strongly preferred. Exposure to DoD and Navy weapon systems and DoD acquisition processes a must.
