The IE/Lean Tech has primary responsibility within the Value Stream (or across two smaller value streams) for KPI tracking and establishing targets annually, period, weekly and daily. Development of and tracking against Value Stream budget parameters including waste, labor and expenses. Identification through data analysis and observation of continuous improvement opportunities and validate results. Responsible for the deployment and coaching of Lean strategies through the Value Stream. Manages Production Support team and accountable for deliverables including continuous improvement, training, start-up, shutdown and changeover.
Development, tracking and continuous improvement for Value Stream annual budget for labor, waste and expenses.
Development, tracking and continuous improvement on KPI’s for Value Stream.
Define and deploy leading indicator metrics for Value Stream.
Management of team development, activities and deliverables for Production Support team.
Deploy through training and coaching Lean Strategies.
Support Activity Management process as it relates to the Value Stream.
Key Skills Required:
Manufacturing flow, technical requirements
Lean Manufacturing concepts
Training, validation and certification
Project planning and project management
Spreadsheet enabled analysis and presentation
Presentation and writing skills
5 year(s) of exposure to manufacturing, industrial engineering and continuous improvement through Lean or relatated techniques through internships, previous work experience or undergraduate work.
Experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related discipline.
High school diploma or GED
Successful completion of a drug and background screen
5+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering
An undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering
