Facilitate food service. Clean tables, carry dirty dishes, replace soiled table linens; replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware and dishes; supply service bar with food, and serve water, butter and coffee to patrons.
Reports directly to the Bien Shur Restaurant and Lounge Manager
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Clean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes, and remove empty bottles and trash.
Carry food, dishes, trays, and silverware from kitchens and supply departments to serving counters.
Carry trays from tables and booths with soiled dishes, glassware, and silverware to kitchen and dishwasher.
Fill beverage and ice dispensers.
Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays.
Replenish supplies of food and equipment at steam tables and service bars.
Scrape and stack dirty dishes, and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of providing customer and personal services.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to maintain the highest standards of hygiene.
Knowledge of service ware, setting tables, and proper removal of soiled service ware.
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
High school diploma preferred, but not required.
No previous work experience required.
Ability to obtain a New Mexico Food Handlers License
Must be able to successfully pass a Background Investigation.
