Job Purpose and Scope:
To attract new customers, to serve existing customers both in person and by telephone; to provide the kind of service which would make people want to do business with Bank of the Ozarks.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Arrive at work promptly and as scheduled, following written security procedures.

2. Provide assistance to customers in lobby, drive-through and over the telephone.

3. Open checking accounts, savings accounts, certificates of deposit, and IRAs.

4. Order checks and deposit tickets.

5. Sell bank products and services.

6. Respond to and follow-up with customer inquiries, complaints, and problems.

7. Type and mail new customer letters.

8. Approve checks/deposits up to the limit set by bank policy and the manager.

9. Function as a teller as assigned or needed.

10. Ensure branch facility is opened and closed according to proper procedures as assigned or needed.

11. Handle opening, closing, and maintenance of safe deposit boxes. Responsible for the collection efforts and drilling of past due safe deposits.

12. Handle branch security issues in absence of manager.

13. Provide assistance to customers in lobby, drive-through, and over the telephone.

14. Accurate utilization of the teller system and computer system.

15. Make Mortgage Loan, Trust, First Data and IPI referrals.

16. Preparation of Cashier’s Checks and Traveler’s Checks and daily reconciliation of such items.

17. Regular use of fax, copier, check protector, and currency counter.

18. Daily balancing of ATM.

19. Work closely with support personnel in researching customer requests.

20. Adhere to written bank policies and procedures as directed.

21. Maintain good punctuality and attendance to work.

22. On-boarding customers into Bankers Insight

23. Work on campaign leads and alerts through Bankers Insight

24. Work closely with team mates to reach branch key performance indicators (Banker’s Insight)

Marginal Duties:
1. Order supplies

2. Process loose coin through automatic coin machine

3. Strap and bundle currency to be sold to the Federal Reserve Bank

4. Familiarity with consumer lending application process.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Minimum six (6) months cash handling experience

2. Minimum six (6) months customer service experience

3. 10-Key knowledge

4. High school diploma or equivalent
