Manages and coordinates a comprehensive physician recruitment program designed to support the recruitment needs of the community, the hospital, its Medical Staff and selected rural referral communities and hospitals. Development of all physician recruitment activities, including Health Alliance members and insuring adherence to hospital policies and procedures. Promote Deaconess Hospital physicians and services to community physicians and their staff.
Knowledge of physician recruitment practices, medical practices, operational, financial, human resources, legal issues. Knowledge to formulate goals and objectives consistent with the department, and organizational strategic direction.
Five years of experience directly related to the field of physician and/or other professional recruitment, or physician practice management. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with physicians, clinic/hospital administrators, Board of Trustees and staff. Understanding of department and organization objectives.
- Ability to apply expertise to read, interpret and apply, contracts, policies, procedures and legal requirements.
