Job ID: 1104-1062 Description: Overview/Job Summary Schwab has a current opportunity for a Senior Manager, Human Resources supporting the Retirement Plan Services (RPS) organization within the Institutional Services business. Based in Richfield, OH, this position partners with business leaders across RPS' multiple locations and reports directly to the HR Lead for Institutional Services. The Human Resources team plays a leadership role in integrating HR initiatives with business strategies. We provide HR services and drive programs that optimize the contributions and engagement of employees and help achieve ongoing business success.

Responsibilities Improve organization effectiveness through consulting on change, leadership, organizational design, communication and engagement. Diagnose, translate, and define current and future business needs into an overall integrated strategic HR plan for the function.

Lead initiatives focused on business planning, employee engagement and talent management As an HR Generalist, change agent and member of the management staff drive strategic plans and objectives across the organization. Pro-actively lead change. Provide organizational development interventions and support including organization design, leadership transitions, enhance communication processes and reward/recognition programs. Assess organization capabilities; identify competency and talent gaps, ensure development of people resources; support talent assessment and succession planning.

Initiate and maintain effective communications with management staff and employees; provide coaching and guidance on matters related to employee relations and performance management, offer feedback on style and behaviors to leaders to improve productivity and engagement. Ensure and maintain the alignment of all corporate HR initiatives and programs, implement and deliver HR programs within the business Leverage the expertise of their peers in HR and partners in talent acquisition, employee development and inclusion, compensation and benefits, communications, compliance and legal to enable client groups to make the right business decisions. Qualifications 8+ years of progressively responsible HR experience with exposure to and demonstrated competence in all functional HR areas Substantial experience consulting with all levels of management A business leader able to influence at all levels of the organization Demonstrated ability to build a deep understanding of the business, anticipate business needs and develop plans that will move the business forward Strong customer focus and be able to effectively and quickly build relationships and establish trust and respect with competence and confidence Possess strong change management skills (i.e. comfortable with uncertainty, ambiguity and continuous change) and be able to set priorities, execute and deliver on commitments Strong analytical skills (assessment and analysis of metrics and trend identification) Results focused and able to quickly assess information and develop clear and concise solutions Demonstrated consultative skills to develop solutions and ideas to both support and help lead the business in achieving business results Courage/confidence to deliver constructive feedback and coaching to business leaders Team player comfortable leveraging the strengths of others to achieve success Maintains the highest ethical standards and integrity in all interactions and decisions Intermittent business travel required Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field required; or equivalent work experience Prior financial services experience desired Key Factors for Success - Relationship building: understanding employee concerns, manager and business needs - Problem solving: create ideas and solutions or processes to identify solutions which address business needs, comfortable with data and technology - Self starter/self directed: due to the geographic location, must be able to work independently while also maintaining a connection within the HR group and dispersed business group Job Specifications: Relocation Offered?
