The successful candidate will provide technical assistance to faculty and staff of the college; serve as the CVPA technology coordinator and liaison with university IT in obtaining solutions for a variety of technology needs; coordinate with Lab Services and Libraries Digital Services to perform upgrades and updates to Forbes Center and Music Library labs as necessary; coordinate discipline-specific software procurement, upgrades and installation on faculty/staff computers; work with the college units to map a strategic hardware and software replacement plan; assist part-time computer technician in the School of Art, Design and Art History with Mac labs in design studio or other projects; develop and provide technical training on specialized software and hardware; assist with management of the digital signage on Main Street and throughout the Forbes Center; support the users of the ticketing software and hardware; work with Card Services to manage the Cbord door access control system for the Forbes Center; bring innovative uses of IT into the classroom to enhance arts curricula; attend monthly IT Coordinator meetings and assist with other IT projects as required, including the university's transition to the Cascade CMS as well as the Canvas Learning Management System.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a strong record of experience in configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining a variety of software and hardware, including Windows 7, Mac OS X, Microsoft Office, Dell and Apple products, mobile devices and audiovisual equipment. Analytical and problem-solving skills are a must. The candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service and also possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with area-specific software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Finale, Logic Studio, VectorWorks, FourWinds) a plus. Experience with Linux and/or SharePoint also a plus.

An undergraduate degree in Computer Science (or related field) or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience preferred.
