PBT (ASCP) preferred
Certification from Vocational or technical training program in either Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant required.
• High School diploma
• Graduate of a vocational or technical school related to phlebotomy
• Phlebotomy major preferred.
• Position requires min of 3 years Pediatric Phlebotomy experience.
All CHOP employees who work in a patient building or who provide patient care are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.
Under the supervision of respective Phlebotomy Unit Leader, assists Phlebotomy Unit Leader in performing phlebotomy on the most difficult patients, training new hires, researchers, and residents, performing yearly assessments on satellite clinic staff and phlebotomy staff. Will assist Phlebotomy Unit Leader in the daily operations of Outpatient areas including scheduling, staffing, IMPACT reviews and maintaining policies and procedures. Will oversee the monthly statistically reports from the outpatient areas.
