In this highly visible role, you will provide support to the entire Human Resources team with timely and efficient processing of requests.
These will include payroll data entry transactions to include, but not limited to, inputting new hire/rehire employee data into PeopleSoft (HRIS system) and/or applicant tracking system, and processing management authorized employee status changes such as classification changes, department transfers, pay increases, termination/resignations, leaves of absences, etc.
Duties will also include:
Track and log inquiries into case management system for reporting.
Maintain data in multiple systems, completing audits to ensure data integrity
Administrative support of extending offers to candidates and processing acceptances.
Maintain Excel spreadsheets using comparison reports and data entry.
Ensure the completion and maintaining all I-9, EEO-1, and Veteran Identification forms
Prepares leave documents to include medical, personal, military, and FMLA
Generate and distribute Human Resources Related reports on both an ad-hoc and scheduled basis.
Creation and maintenance of active and terminated personnel records.
Must handle confidential information in accordance with management policies.
Must use strong interpersonal skills to assist employees in handling payroll discrepancies.
Develops close working relationship with the Human Resources Generalists, Recruiters, Payroll Center and Timekeeping.
Answers general questions and inquires in all areas of human resources, routing inquiry to the appropriate HR staff member when appropriate
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an administrative/customer services role.
High energy, personable, customer-service oriented professional who is easily adaptable to ongoing change.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
In depth knowledge of Windows, MS Word, Excel, Internet & email systems.
Experience with HRIS software preferred.
Required Education (including Major):
High School Diploma or GED.
