Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) wanted for 12 hour per diem call shifts and 6 hour rounding shifts at Brigham & Women's Hospital. These shifts will include nights, weekends and holidays.
CNM will perform moderately complex and complex tasks including: providing intrapartum and postpartum care to patients; ordering / interpreting appropriate diagnostic data; writing prescriptions and medication orders; and working collaboratively with physicians and other clinicians. The ability to assess clinical problems, determine priorities of care, and appropriately seek and utilize consultation and referral required.
Masters level nurse midwifery program, state licensure and authorization to practice in the expanded role, as well as DEA and MCSR are required. Minimum of three years of CNM experience needed. Basic computer skills required.
