The primary purpose of this position is to supervise a crew and install electrical systems as needed at both cellular sites and on DAS systems. This position will also aid in the reactive maintenance when the trouble is electrical in nature.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervises the work of electricians and helpers engaged in the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and apparatus
Trains and instructs subordinates on detailed procedures.
Conducts periodic inspections and gives on-site supervision over hazardous or unusual work assignments; assures availability of equipment, materials, and supplies.
Initiates requisitions for supplies, tools, and equipment.
Confers with company officials and makes recommendations on proposed projects.
Enforces safety regulations, rules, and working conditions.
Recruits and trains personnel in the safe operation of equipment and tools.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Minimum of eight years experience in the electrical trade with required Journeyman License.
Must have own tools.
Must have knowledge of local codes and requirements including the current addition of the NEC.
Must be capable of installing any raceway system required, which includes Rigid Metallic Conduit, Intermediate Metallic Conduit, EMT, any form of cable tray.
Must be able to troubleshoot electrical systems and understand both control and direct current wiring.
Must be able to plan and supervise crew members.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
