Supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department by performing the following duties.
Compiles payroll data to maintain payroll records by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Processes bi-weekly payroll, including new hire/rehire and termination information, status changes, commission and payroll hours, filing, garnishments including correspondence with HR, employees and agencies and handling employee questions/concerns.
Communicates with HR personnel and supervisors, managers to resolve issues related to Payroll transactions to insure accuracy in employee hours worked.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three + years of multi-state Payroll experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with Excel and Word required.
