We are looking for a System Administrator to help support our office and could infrastructure. This is a junior to mid-level position with a lot of opportunity for growth and learning. Initially it will focus primarily on traditional IT support tasks, but will evolve over time as the successful candidate demonstrates capacity to work with our diverse systems. Ultimately, this individual may be involved in the full spectrum of IT support, devops, and liveops activities.
This position is located at our Denver studio. Must be willing to relocate.
Support office IT needs; Including user support, networking, printing, and storage.
Support server maintenance and deployment.
Participate in the on-call rotation to support our live products.
At least two (2) years working in a System Administrator or IT support role.
Demonstrated Windows and Linux administration skills.
Demonstrated networking skills.
Familiarity with generally accepted IT best practices.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teammates.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Ability to learn new skills and languages quickly.
Game industry experience.
Formal IT training with certification or degree in an IT-related discipline.
Experience with cloud computing environments and/or visualization, especially Amazon EC2.
Experience with deployment automation tools, especially Chef.
Experience with at least one scripting language, especially Ruby.
Experience with version control systems, especially Subversion and git.
Experience administrating database systems, especially Postgresql, Mysql, and MS SQL Server 2012.
Experience with Cisco ASA, Windows Server 2008, and Ubuntu/Debian or Centos/Redhat Linux.
