The Lead Analyst for Secure Development will be responsible for leading initiatives within GE’s Secure Development Program, a GE-wide program which supports GE software developers, engineers, architects and associated roles in minimizing the risk of software-based security vulnerabilities in GE products, services and infrastructure.
In this role you will help define and lead the integration of key secure development practices and tools into strategic GE software development centers as well as providing key training and post-integration support. Additionally, you will support broader activities to manage, enhance and expand GE's secure development program. Specifically, you will:
Contribute to the strategic roadmap for GE’s secure development initiatives
Lead integration of tools and processes that support secure development
Lead projects and initiatives that expand and enhance GE’s secure development program
Consult to GE development teams on threat modeling, secure software design, risk assessments and remediation of software vulnerabilities
Monitor and report on adoption and effectiveness of secure development practices
Support the ongoing development and management of GE secure development standards, guidelines, tools, training and similar resources
Monitor for new or changing support requirements from development teams
Facilitate collaboration on secure development techniques between GE development teams
Evaluate new code analysis tools & services for potential program adoption
Monitor industry trends for emerging cybersecurity risks and make recommendations for changes in program strategy
Train and support development teams in the use of code analysis tools and other secure development resources
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and a minimum 3 years of related experience
Minimum 1 year security, security testing or security audit experience

Familiarity with software development environments and supporting technologies
Experience using static and dynamic Analysis Tools
Familiarity with Secure Development methodologies
CSSLP, CEH, CISM, CISSP or SSCP certification
Six Sigma / LEAN experience
Excellent written and spoken English
