SNC is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Avionics Technician to support our fast growing business area. This position will be to support both operations and maintenance, outside the United States.
Our primary focus is on licensed technicians with extensive experience in the removal, installation and testing of all types of avionics systems and wiring. The ability to troubleshoot and repair problems related to avionics, infrared imaging systems, radio transmission and computer systems a must.
Previous work experience with ISR systems a major plus with prior military experience desirable. Individual must be highly energetic, willing to work in a fast changing team focused environment.
Position will be based outside the continental United States. Possible relocation to Central America required.
• 5-10 years of experience is desired with maintenance experience on DoD aircraft.
• Experience on DoD/fixed wing turboprop aircraft.
• Previous military/civilian supervisory experience desired.
• Ability to obtain and retain a DoD security clearance required.
FCC License. Knowledge of reading, interpreting drawings, diagrams, and manuals; aircraft avionics/other systems; wire coding systems; avionics test equipment; knowledge of manuals necessary to perform job; skill to use basic hand tools, operate ground support equipment, troubleshoot engine systems, and to measure using a variety of basic and precision measuring devices relating to job function.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.
