The Institutional Division, Ecolab's core and largest business, addresses the cleaning and sanitation needs of the restaurant, lodging, and other institutional foodservice customers with innovative custom cleaning programs. Ecolab will jump start your career with a standardized training program that consists of on-the-job training as well as attending classroom training through Ecolab University at our headquarters.

  • Personally sell street line and contract business of $300K annually to drive sales.
  • Cultivate relationships with and between all levels of distributor and Ecolab personnel within the geographical area to drive growth through synergism.
  • Develop and execute business and marketing plans with distributor partners.
  • Educate distributors on Ecolab products and train in the most effective sales techniques and lead generation.
  • Introduce new products and enhance distributor sales/service capabilities through direct presentations, training, and utilizing other Ecolab resources.
  • Facilitate cross-divisional sales opportunities.
Cities/Area Candidates Must Reside In: Iowa
On-Call Weekend Coverage: occasional
Overnight Trips per Month: 4
  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years sales experience
  • You must be able to lift and/or carry 25 pounds
  • An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • No Immigration Sponsorship Available
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Industry-related experience in janitorial, sanitary supply or hospitality.
  • Distributor sales and business development experience
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong relationship management capability
