Duties Summary:
Serve as instrumentman on a variety of surveys such as preliminary, topographic, construction or boundary surveys, using a transit, level, theodolite, and/or other survey instruments; reduce and plot field notes and perform related computations; may serve as chief-of-party on routine surveys; compile data pertaining to surveys from maps, deeds, land titles, metes and bounds descriptions or other sources; and perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:
Basic Education: A bachelor's degree with a major in land surveying, geo-science, civil or general engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.

License: A valid driver's license is required for some positions. For those positions requiring a driver's license, you must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment. The immediate vacancy has this requirement.
