Conduct technical design and development of WindChill and eMatrix PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) applications to track product data across Cummins entities.
Design and develop eMatrix PLM application changes. Design and develop interfaces changes from eMatrix to applications like Mainframe, Oracle ERP, or other applications. Track the WindChill large scale implementation phases and follow engineering CAD for item data manufacturing changes and manufacturing item data implementation. Design and develop WindChill PDMLink, WindChill ProjectLink, WindChill MPMLink and other applications on WindChill. Design and integrate product data from WindChill PDMLink, WindChill ProjectLink, WindChill MPMLink to applications like Mainframe, Oracle ERP, or other applications. Plan and guide WindChill design, development, and deployment for the various phases of the PLM program. Deployment will include system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and resolving issues, along with the design and development of associated interfaces. Utilize Business Process Analysis experience to conduct process analysis projects and develop PLM requirements. Utilize CAD Data Migration using ProE Bulk Loader to support data migration to new PLM systems. Coordinate with Business Unit representatives and external partners to ensure the timely implementation of WindChill applications. Monitor the progress of IT Software Development Lifecycle Processes implementation and report the status to the Program Office, Development manager, IT Stakeholder and Customers. Act as point of contact for all application design, development, and deployment related issues that need to be resolved with cooperation from the various stakeholders and service providers. Utilize Six Sigma Tools and Processes to improve product data management processes, application design, and development processes. Gather business requirements from the customers to ensure solution designs are delivered for the product lifecycle management application. Test and record the test results of WindChill application utilizing quality assurance tools like Ration Quality Manager, Rational Performance Tester, and Rational Functional Tester.
Experience and Education:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business Management, or related engineering field and 2 years of experience as a Software Specialist, Software Engineer, or related position.
Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business Management, or related engineering field and 5 years of experience as a Software Specialist, Software Engineer, or related position. Experience must have included: IT Software Development Lifecycle Processes; WindChill Application Design; Six Sigma Tools and Processes; Business Process Analysis; CAD Data Migration using ProE Bulk Loader; Oracle ERP; eMatrix.
