Although subject matter knowledge is preferred, these positions may function with 0-2 years of professional experience. Administers defined procedures, analyses, and reports. Refer more complex work to senior staff.


*Coordinate with life companies, borrowers, legal counsel, and production team to ensure a timely loan closing and delivery in accordance with internal policies and procedures and life company requirements.

*Assist with obtaining closing checklist items from borrower.

*Prepare and maintain current closing workbook / checklist.

*Evaluate borrower’s insurance coverage for life company compliance and calculation of monthly impounds.

*Verify tax bills and calculate tax liability for closing statement and monthly escrows.

*Prepare settlement statement and provide to legal counsel, borrower, and title company.

*Review and interpret legal documents to effectuate accurate servicing system input, data mining needs, and identification of trigger events.

*Address and resolve loan level closing issues with internal staff, life companies, and borrowers to confirm life company requirements and projected closing dates are met.

*Assist with the closing process for loan events such as assumptions, modifications, collateral releases, etc., including the preparation of loan setup forms.

*Obtain final closing package and executed loan documents from life company legal counsel.

*Perform quality control review and inventory check of closing package.

*Distribute closing workbook / loan setup forms or electronic transfer file to loan boarding group for input and/or upload to servicing system.

*Assemble and distribute loan document package for imaging.
