The Group Sales Coordinator is the liaison between the Sales Manager and the on-site meeting contact. Must be able to communicate effectively and respond quickly. A friendly attitude and willingness to assist with guest needs is a must. Strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and excellent communication skills are required. The Group Sales Coordinator's duties include, but are not limited to, managing social group guestroom blocks, managing and entering sales leads, and assigning leads to appropriate managers while communicating group details verbally and through system entries. The Group Coordinator also assists managers with daily administrative duties such as preparation of contracts and proposals, including PowerPoint presentations and internal communication paperwork.
Previous experience in a hotel sales office or front office environment is required. Strong customer service and problem solving skills Effective organizational and time management skills with ability to muli-taks Proficient in MS Office Suite Strong analytical, organization and planning skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detailed oriented, deadline driven Team-focused Ability to work in a fast paced environment
