Designs, implements, assesses, and recommends revisions to all programs and activities for the recruitment and admission process for Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology; acts as the division spokesperson for the admissions process; trains all applications readers; and collaborates with state and national magnet school personnel.

Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, counseling, or psychology, plus seven years' progressive experience in an educationally-related setting, including working with an applications, selection, and admissions process. Master's degree preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, and current trends of an admissions process including outreach to diverse communities. Capacity to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with diverse populations of students, parents, school administrators, and community organizations. Skill in oral and written communications. Ability to manage fiscal, physical, and human resources. Ability to train adults.
