Job Description:
Setup and operate NC and mechanical press brakes for
forming various sized material working from verbal or
written instructions from supervisor, setup,
manufacturing instructions, blue prints and/or
production schedules. Perform quality inspection of
parts, insuring proper completion of paperwork as well
as accurate recording and handling of scrap.

  • Operate and setup press brakes
  • Maintain orderly working and storage area.
  • Must observe safety & environmental rules and
regulations at all times
  • Perform additional related duties as required.
Include micrometers, calipers, tape measurers, rulers,
protractors, personal protective equipment and press
brake setup tools.

Job Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
or one to three months related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination. Ability to read and
interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and
maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability
to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to
add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a
variety of concrete variables in situations where only
limited standardization exists. Ability to read and
interpret blueprints. Ability to use measuring tools
such as tape measurers, calipers, micrometers, and
protractors. Ability to interpret a variety of
instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or
schedule form. Must successfully complete Mechanical
Power Press Training and Lockout/Tagout Training.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger,
or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is
occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25
pounds frequently and/or move up to 75 pounds.
