Our client is seeking to fill a short-term position of Validation Technician. This System Validation Technician is responsible for setting up open chassis system and verifying system healthiness prior to releasing to the engineers.
This includes board replacement, Device Under Test (DUT) socketing, BIOS/OS/peripherals installation and upgrade, thermal control installation on the systems, installation of different OS such as Linux or Window, and perform basic tests to ensure system is ready for DUT validation

Requirements:
Computer Science and/or Computer Engineering background with understanding of computer architecture a definite plus
Extensive hands-on experience in setting up and executing generally defined engineering tests under intense turnaround conditions. Activities will include test equipment setup, data collection instrumentation, and setup checkout. We're also looking for people who have the ability to troubleshoot and test hardware, software, and firmware is a definite plus
Knowledgeable of inventory control
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Ability to learn and absorb system test training quickly
Technical certification and/or technical degree
