Both positions will be responsible for the execution of
industrial and power generation projects
which require the coordination of engineering, design, procurement, and construction
10+ years of experience with mid-size to large industrial projects is required
Experience should include proven examples of the candidate’s knowledge of
“self perform” EPC
contracting methods, OEM’s, engineering design services and construction methods.
Establishes scope of service, master schedule, and cost budget.
Establishes project procedures and prepares project management plan.
Coordinates the activities of project staff.
Monitors adherence to schedule and budget, and initiate corrective action if required.
Ensures that internal and client staff are provided with timely and accurate project information and status updates.
Supports more senior staff in negotiations with clients re out-of-scope issues.
Deals with suppliers and sub-contractors and resolves budget, schedule and quality issues.
Ensures that health, safety and environment management issues are properly addressed.
MUST have previous experience working on power generation & industrial construction projects
This is a “hands on” site level position that requires more than just project oversight
MUST be willing to travel to job site locations for long term assignments
BS degree in building / construction, construction management or a relevant engineering discipline is preferred.
