Seeking an entry to mid level Geotechnical Engineer or Civil Engineer with a Geotechnical emphasis with 3 to 8 years of experience to work out of our Boise, ID office. Applicants must have a BSGE or BSCE, be registered as a professional engineer or hold an EIT certification and be eligible to sit for the PE exam within one year of employment. The successful candidate will work in our RAM (Resource Asset Management) Division/Geoengineering Department on projects requiring geotechnical input. The successful candidate will be working with other experienced engineers in a team environment therefore good interpersonal communication skills are a plus. Must be proficient in Geotechnical engineering subsurface investigations, shallow and deep foundation evaluation and design such as drilled piers, micropiles, piles, and cassions. The candidate must have a strong background in computer modeling that may include LPILE, SHAFT, MFAD, CUFAD, ROCK/BACKPACK, ROCKWORKS, STAB, and SETTLEG. Experience with constructability issues in all environments is important. Limited travel will be required, often in remote areas. EEO/AA Employer.
