Retail Trade Marketing Manager- Royal Canin, US - STC00066 Description
      Position Title: Trade Marketing Manager - Retail Pillar

      Reports To: Retail Pillar Marketing Manager


      The Trade Marketing Manager will work closely with a high-functioning retail marketing team to get more products on the shelf and through online to get Royal Canin health nutrition into the hands of consumers’ hands. This role will provide consistent, data driven brand value propositions that resonates with national account retailers. The Trade Marketing Manager will provide the Cat and Dog Brand Management team key information to help drive national marketing campaigns and product launches with our key trade partners.

      This role will impact two critical areas:
      · Network builder making sure there is a smooth flow of information between customers, marketing and sales to ensure collaboration.
      · Team translator making sure brand marketing obtains information from its most strategic retailers.

      Responsibilities: · Responsible for the development and execution of strategically integrated marketing programs for National Accounts, including co-branded marketing, exclusive retailer programs, supervision of promotional activities and identifying opportunities in and out of store.
      · Analysis of marketing objectives and strategies consistent with financial, volume and sales goals.
      · On major trade plans to include the new product launch process coordinate with all key stakeholders for flawless execution i.e. Customer support teams, RC Brand Management, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain.
      · Assist with innovative merchandising and retail solutions with RC Merchandising Manager and customer merchandising teams.
      · Establish and maintain contacts directly with the National Account Merchant and Marketing teams to create promotion activities and marketing programs.
      · Manage and monitor Customer Trade Marketing budget and spending with a focus on improved ROI.
      · Participate in customer meetings and events working in partnership with the RC Brand Management team.
      · Utilize ROI to develop stronger, effective programs and promotions.
      · Design and execution (with Brand Management partners) of in-store merchandising and promotional materials.
      · Advises marketing team of competitive activities and marketing trends
      Requirements: · Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing, MBA a plus
      · 2-5 years in similar position or marketing experience. Pet industry experience a plus.
      · Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
      · Up to 25% travel domestic with opportunity to travel international
