POSITION TITLE: Benefits & Payroll Specialist

DEPARTMENT/CATEGORY: Human Resources

JOB TYPE: Salary Level 2/3

REPORTS TO: Corporate Human Resource Manager

LOCATION: World Headquarters Elkhart, Indiana

PERFORMANCE SUMMARY : This position is responsible for general benefits administration including but not limited to monthly vendor billings, FMLA applications, flexible spending account administration, assisting associates with medical, dental and vision claims. This position is also a back-up for the Payroll Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
Build an effective network with associates at World Headquarters and outlying locations.
Process associate benefit health, dental, vision and life insurance applications via ESS.
Process FMLA, life and disability claims and provide support to outlying locations.
Assist with COBRA eligibility and corporate Wellness Program events.
Provide benefit orientations and answer enrollment questions from associates at World Headquarters and outlying locations.
Maintain HIPAA files and ensure confidentiality is maintained.
Manage new hire and annual enrollment processes for benefits.
Support all Human Resources communications by showing support and answering questions.
Assist with planning events, such as 2 health fairs annually, which are hosted by Corporate HR.
Assist the Payroll Department.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : Candidates must have benefits and claims experience, SAP and Employee Self Service a plus.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or Communications.

SKILLS REQUIRED : Successful candidates will have strong organizational and interpersonal skills and have strong workload management skills.
