Provide Case Management, Employment Preparation Services, Job Placement and Job Retention Services to program participants. Enrolls, trains and counsels participants to prepare them for employment and ensures program participants are progressing towards the goals identified in the Individual Employment Plan (IEP). Working hours will be either 8:00am-5:00pm or 11:00am-8:00pm.
Maintains accurate and complete records for all program participants for the purpose of case files and reporting requirements.
Identifies jobs in the community and places people into gainful employment.
Collects, organizes, and analyzes information about individuals through records, tests, interviews, and professional sources to appraise their interests, aptitudes and abilities for vocational planning.
Conducts intake, assessments, and orientation for the SNAP Program.
Provides occupational, educational, and economic information to aid participants in making realistic vocational and educational objectives.
Develops individualized employment plans (IEPs) for participants that include appropriate goals and objectives.
Tracks and records participant progress to ensure continual progression toward their goals.
Assists individuals to understand and overcome barriers to employment and determines the support services necessary to overcome these barriers.
Provides pre-employment and job development training to program participants.
Develops effective relationships with business and industry in order to educate and advise regarding program services. Contact prospective employers to determine their needs, and explain placement services.
Maintains participant database and software associated with case management activities efficiently.
Communicates professionally with supervisors, co-workers, program participants, community agencies, and other stakeholders involved in service provision.
Responsible for awareness of and adherence to all company, confidentiality and safety policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor Degree from an accredited college and one to two years related experience; or combination of education and experience. Proficient and skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook). Must have knowledge of relevant federal, state and local regulations affecting employment and training practices. Ability to meet the public and establish positive relationships with a wide variety of people, businesses, employers and agency representatives. Ability to work independently and demonstrate time management skills. Must have a valid SC Driver’s License with limited points for violations.
Job Location: 10 positions in various locations in Richland and Lexington counties in SC
