Brief Description of Duties: Position Description: The position is a twelve-month, tenure-track appointment, with rank and salary commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include teaching in a graduate physical therapy curriculum in the following content areas:

1/4-1/2 time ACCE position
Graduate level teaching and research experience in physical therapy education with a record of scholarly work and/or clinical education supervision.
Competencies: Graduate level teaching and research experience in physical therapy education with a record of scholarly work and/or clinical education supervision.
Required Education/Experience/Skills (Minimum Qualifications): An earned academic doctorate in physical therapy or a related field along with the ability to teach graduate level courses in research, differential diagnosis and other clinical courses of interest is required. A U.S. license to practice physical therapy and eligibility for physical therapy licensure in North Carolina is also required. Candidates must present evidence of prior teaching experience and 3-5 years of clinical practice experience.
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation: NC license or license eligible required
