Position Summary

Assist the Graduate Program Directors for BME, MPP and BioTech, and the Directors for the Center for BME in matters relating to graduate program activities including academic & student activities, administrative support, committee support and interdepartmental support.

Job Qualifications

Associates Degree with 2-4 years administrative support experience or equivalent combination of education/experience. Experience with academic graduate programs preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ), web based tools, Gmail, and proficiency with FileMaker Effective oral and written communication skills and good command of English language and grammar Strong organizational, administrative and time management skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and handle interruptions Good customer service skills Skilled at planning and executing events File management skills Ability to help keep others organized Willingness and interest to continue learning Ability to shift focus and priority, and remain calm under pressure Ability to work with diverse populations Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
