Support the Bank's commercial banking effort by originating new commercial banking customers, defined as those companies having annual revenues of $5 million to $35 million. Service and expand the existing customer base under the general direction of the department manager and through the utilization and coordination of the various strategic partners within the bank. The position will require a comprehensive knowledge of the bank's products and services, underwriting and credit standards, trends in general commercial banking market, effective sales and customer service practices, relevant legal issues and other necessary information.
Responsible for developing and executing a well defined business development plan for the market with a heavy emphasis on calling and originating profitable new relationships for the Bank. Also responsible for managing any existing portfolio, including cross-selling of all ancillary Bank products and coordination with partners responsible for underwriting and portfolio management. The position may come with an existing portfolio of clients, or it may not.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree
- New relationship development and portfolio management experience in the Commercial and Industrial market
- Commercial credit and/or underwriting experience preferred
- Grade 18: 3-5 years
- Grade 20: 5-7 years
- Grade 22: 7-10 years
- Must have adequate knowledge of the Bank’s products, services and underwriting standards
