As a Vice President, Customer Engagement and Relationship Management, you will be responsible for continued growth of new and existing accounts within an assigned region by identifying new opportunities, submitting solutions and proposals to clients, and working with Ellucian’s sales and services teams to close sales. In addition, you will be responsible for the overall client relationship. Whatever the responsibilities, you'll have lots of opportunity to make your impact at Ellucian.

You will add value by:

• Develop and execute long term customer account plans that directly drive revenue by focusing on meeting the needs of the customer.
• Drive Ellucian portfolio and collaborative partner sales to meet the needs of new named and existing customers.
• Foster quality long term relationships with prospects, customers, references, partners, State Agencies and other persons or organizations of influence.
• Create an environment that supports the delivery of highly valued solutions for long term relationships with our customers.
• Serve as the Lead Executive Point of Contact for your Customer

Position Requirements

What we need from you:

• BS/BA required, MA/MBA a plus
• At least10 years + of consistent over-achievement success in selling large complex solutions
• Proven evangelical sales track record in a new product/new market environment.
• A strong & loyal customer/client list reflecting a dedication for always doing the right thing for the customer
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the ERP sales industry considered a plus
• Proven track record of building relationships, influencing thinking through a consultative sales process, and closing complex sales in a solutions business or outsourcing situation
• Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.
• Proven contract negotiations leadership and skills.
• Experience in negotiating and closing large, complex contracts
• Extremely strong written and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to learn complex information
• Ability to travel extensively
