Provide a variety of administrative and project support to the Human Resources department. With manager guidance, interpret company policy in responding to employee relations issues in a timely manner.
Required Basic Qualifications
•Associate Degree or related work experience
•Minimum of three years in related position and environment
•Experience working on HRIS applications, databases
•Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
Preferred Basic Qualifications
•Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent years of experience)
•Demonstrated understanding of Human Resource practices and terminology
•Strong organizational and analytical skills, with ability to effectively multi-task
•Professional verbal and written communication skills
•Able to effectively work independently or within a team environment
•Sound judgment and initiative when responding to internal and external customers of all levels and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
•Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage time and resources effectively, including the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines with an appropriate sense of urgency and initiative
•General knowledge of the full human resources function
•Experienced in creating reports and analyzing data in Excel; working knowledge of HRIS applications to retrieve and analyze data
•Basic presentation skills
•Good research, problem-solving, project management and organizational skills
•Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, maintaining a positive, collaborative work style
•PHR a plus.
•PAHM certification within first year
