The Social Worker I

The Social Worker I has 0-2 years of experience in treating addiction, mental health and/or co-occurring disorders, or practices under a conditional clinical license. They function as skilled advocates, brokers, educators and treatment specialists and have demonstrated competencies within outpatient, or inpatient treatment programs. With supervisory assistance they can organize clinical formulations, assess the efficacy of care plans and adapt active treatment to fit the needs of the client. They demonstrate clinical competency within the context of one level and specialize in treating either adult or youth populations. EOE

Social Worker II

The Social Worker II has two or more years of experience in hospital or community-based addiction, mental health and/or co-occurring disorders treatment and practices under a conditional clinical license or is independently licensed. T he y provide high quality, recovery-oriented evaluations, treatment planning and relevant treatment of clients at more than two levels of care using individual, group and family therapy modalities. They show knowledge and operational proficiency in applying tenants of one or more theoretical frameworks and are developing specialty areas and interests related to treatment of specific age cohorts, or populations. Social Worker III

The Social Worker III is an independently licensed clinical social worker, professional counselor or psychologist with five or more years of work experience in clinical treatment of mental health, addiction, and/or co-occurring disorders. In addition to providing direct care, they may also operate in a supervisory role based on their clinical expertise and supervisory experience. They demonstrate advanced clinical skills and expertise in providing relevant, client-centered treatment across the lifespan and have two or more areas identified as clinical and/or age-related clinical specialties, or theoretical frameworks. They serve as clinical leaders of treatment teams, assign and manage workloads and schedules across their respective programs and support the delivery of high quality treatment at Acadia . EOE

LCSW, LCSW-CC, LCPC, or PhD required
