Serves as the point of contact to field management on pricing inquiries. Reviews and analyzes the company's product pricing and develops pricing options to improve margins. Performs pricing analysis and identifies process improvement and efficiencies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as the point of contact to field management on pricing inquiries.
Manages price matrix and price list maintenance across multiple markets and product segments.
Identifies margin improvement opportunities through analytics.
Partners with field organization to help refine pricing processes and support margin objectives.
Performs adhoc analysis to identify opportunities with underperforming customers, products and markets.
Identifies process improvements and efficiencies in the price setting process.
Assists with deployment of ERP system pricing modules and conversion from legacy pricing systems
Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices and ensures that employees observe all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injuries or damage; schedules periodic safety meetings and solicits recommended changes to improve safety procedures.

Strong analytical skills
Ability to compose effective and efficient finance presentations
Strong Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel skills
Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management and articulate solutions in a manner that leads to desired results
Work collaboratively with other departments and functional teams to coordinate effective solutions
Identify and act on ideas which further the Company’s strategic goals and business plan objectives
Ability to think strategically and innovatively
Desire to strive for continuous improvement in processes and skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience and a minimum of two (2) years of pricing or finance experience with a focus on improving margins.
Experience with database query tools/reports and Excel pivot table, vlookup and data tables is desirable. Experience with Pricing Software tools (Vendavo, Pros, Zilliant) would be a plus. Experience with price list & price matrix management is a plus. Building industry or wholesale industry experience is beneficial. Oracle ERP system experience is a plus
