ESP Product Architect
Job Description: This position in the Mobile Communication group is expected to drive overall technical definition of our system solutions from concept through development to our customer engagements. You will be expected to understand the needs of our customers, the competitive landscape of our market, and the technical capabilities of our development teams to create appropriate requirements which define our platforms. You will need to define the appropriate key performance indices (KPI) that measure the success of our platforms. This position will interact directly with the R&D teams to ensure that the scope of development is well understood. You will be expected to address any customer issues that come up during their development.
You must possess at least a Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with a Doctorate being preferred.
5+ years of experience in direct hardware/software design
3+ years of experience in hardware/software architecture
- Preferred knowledge of Intel architecture, PC system architecture and general
- Experience in wireless communications, preferably UMTS/GSM/LTE
- Worked with requirements definition and toolsets
- Creation of architectural level documentation
- Direct interaction with end customers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
