Windows Administrator - Corporate Network

Responsibilities:

· Assist in the administration of Windows and Corporate Mac Workstations including installation of programs and security

· Responsible for administration of Windows Corporate Servers, including file shares, information repositories, FTP, VPN, Accounting, Domain Controllers and Exchange

· Lift and install hardware including workstations, printers, and servers

· Respond to ticket requests though BMC/Numara Track-It!

· Troubleshoot end-user program/networking issues

· Create and maintain documentation for IT department assets, procedures, disaster recovery and responsibilities

· Allocate, configure and deploy new company assets (Workstations/Laptops/IP phones)

· Assist with Office 2007 to Office 2013 Migration and Administration

· Assist with SharePoint 2013 implementation

· Support Director of IT with IT related initiatives including but not limited to: research into programs/hardware/budgetary concerns etc.

· Properly route IT requests to Networking/Production teams

Requirements:

Expertise in the following:

· Active Directory/Group Policy

· Windows 7/8

· Networking protocols and Troubleshooting

· Computer Hardware and Troubleshooting

Knowledge of:

· Symantec Endpoint Protection

· Avaya Office IP Phone Systems

· Microsoft based Programs and Windows Registry

· Exchange 2010

Must have:

· Ability to work and learn independently

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

· Ability to respond to emergencies at the NYC office within 60 minutes

· 5-10% travel required: NJ data center (quarterly, CT corporate office once a month initially and less as time progresses
