DESCRIPTION: The Global Client Infrastructure Services (CIS) Program Office provides global program, project and technology management services across Citigroup to ensure CIS Strategic Initiatives are successfully implemented. Client Infrastructure includes end-user computing services and infrastructure for the following technologies: desktop, server-based computing, virtual desktop infrastructure, Remote Access, BlackBerry, application services, and mobile computing. Global Client Infrastructure operational support/reengineering functions globally include, but are not limited to: operational efficiency, infrastructure optimization, and service level attainment. DEVELOPMENT (WHAT WILL YOU LEARN BY DOING THIS JOB): Increased ability to manage large, complex infrastructure projects.
Enhanced leadership skills in a highly complex technical environment. Enhanced communication and management skills by interacting with global technology teams, global and regional engineering and operational teams. Be involved in development of new management processes to measure productivity, quality and control. Be involved and responsible for major Technology initiatives with global and cross-business impact. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: &194;&183; Leading multiple projects within the Client Infrastructure Services Organization. Implementing/utilizing applicable controls, reporting mechanisms as CIS moves to a globalized and centralized support model.
&194;&183; Tracking technology issues and partnering with the Technology Management to help drive the technology teams to a successful conclusion in the areas of: desktop, server-based computing, virtual desktop infrastructure, Remote Access, BlackBerry, application services, and mobile computing. &194;&183; Partner with the CIS Global Support Teams to manage and resolve the global technology challenges discovered in large scale. &194;&183; Ensure management is apprised of applicable program and technology strategies and plans and the corresponding support requirements. &194;&183; Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements within the organization.
&194;&183; Ensure consistent tracking and reporting are in place. &194;&183; Establishing the operational program to model after Global IT Optimization initiative. EXPECTED OUTCOMES (WHAT WILL "SUCCESS" LOOK LIKE IN 12 MONTHS): &194;&183; Successfully manage the project teams to migrate to the committed migration schedules. &194;&183; Successfully integrate with CTI, CATE colleagues and other CIS Team Members.
&194;&183; Understand the Global Support Models and the Standard Infrastructure Lifecycle (SILC/SDLC) and implement process changes for more effective tracking.. &194;&183; Proactive management of risks and issues to projects. KEY CHALLENGES (WHAT IS THE WORK/MARKET ENVIRONMENT): &194;&183; Managing multiple priorities in a constantly changing environment. &194;&183; Managing the expectations of senior technical and business managers.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to: In order to be considered for this role, the employee must currently be employed with Operations & Technology (O&T) Candidate will most likely have 8 years of project management experience in a technical environment. Experience in managing new process development and implementation.
