Under the general direction of the Vice President or Director of Human Resources, the incumbent will organize, administer, implement, update, and monitor the District’s Equal Employment and Opportunity (EEO) Diversity Programs; will develop and implement programs for and to promote diversity in the District’s workforce; will investigate and/or coordinate investigations of discrimination, retaliation and harassment complaints.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Any combination equivalent to: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field and five years increasingly responsible human resources experience including work with EEO, labor relations, classification and compensation functions. At least two years of the required experience must have been in the capacity of a supervisor within an EEO and diversity program.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
The incumbent must have the ability to get to a variety of locations. This is usually accomplished by driving a personal vehicle to said locations. If operating a vehicle, the ability to secure and maintain a valid California driver’s license is required.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Any provisional offer of employment is dependent upon the candidate's successful completion of their fingerprint clearance prior to the start of employment. Additionally, the cost of the fingerprint clearance will be borne by the candidate.
A screening committee will evaluate applicants, taking into account the breadth and depth of relevant education, training, experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities. Selected applicants will be invited for an interview. (Costs reimbursed up to $500 per candidate for over 150 miles one-way). Each candidate interviewed will be asked to complete a writing assignment one hour prior to the scheduled interview. The screening committee will recommend finalists to the College President. Preferred beginning date of employment will be determined after final interviews.
Salary Range: M-17; $121,298 - $130,723
The District contributes $6,295 to medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage. Lifetime medical benefits are provided for eligible retirees.
The District participates in the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) and California State Teachers' Retirement System (CalSTRS) retirement programs.
