The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated, goal-oriented Accounting Professional at our Braintree location. We’re looking for an Accounting Assistant who has the skill or experience to manage the day-to-day operations of accounting.
Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and credits Resolve vendor invoice discrepancies Prepare and process accounts payable checks and ACH payments Vendor statement reconciliation Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries Vendor file maintenance Calculate and monitor vendor rebates Oversee the maintenance of departmental records · Prepare analysis of accounts
Assist in month-end closing Post customer payments Prepare and mail customer invoices Assist with customer inquiries Sort and distribute the incoming mail Assist other departments as needed
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field of study Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable Knowledge of general accounting procedures Knowledge of relevant computer applications
